Subaru Loves to Help - Chase T
Subaru Loves to Help brought together Royal East Subaru, Operation Warm, and New Hope Family Shelter with a shared goal of providing warmth and support to children and families in the local community. Through the initiative, a collection of brand-new children's jackets was donated to New Hope Family Shelter. Representatives gathered in person for the donation, helping ensure that local children had access to warm, comfortable outerwear during the cold Indiana winter. For families experiencing difficult or uncertain circumstances, having access to everyday essentials can make a meaningful difference. A warm jacket provides more than protection from the cold—it can offer comfort, confidence, and one less thing for a family to worry about. Subaru Loves to Help is centered around supporting some of the most vulnerable members of the community by helping provide essential items when they're needed most. Through the partnership between Royal East Subaru, Operation Warm, and New Hope Family Shelter, that commitment was put into action right here at home. This donation was another example of what can happen when local organizations and community partners come together with a simple purpose: helping neighbors feel supported, cared for, and a little warmer.
Subaru Loves the Earth! - Kyle B
As part of the Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, our team was proud to partner with the Arbor Day Foundation to help bring more trees—and a little more green—to our local community. Through this partnership, we offered 100 trees at no cost to local community members who reserved one in advance. All 100 trees were claimed, giving each one the opportunity to be planted, cared for, and enjoyed right here in our community. While giving away a tree may seem like a small gesture, the impact can continue for decades. As these trees grow, they can provide shade, create habitat for wildlife, improve our local environment, and become part of the homes and neighborhoods where they were planted. Subaru Loves the Earth reminds us that protecting the environment starts with the actions we take in our own communities. We were grateful to see such an enthusiastic response and proud to help 100 new trees put down roots in the place we call home.
Bringing Comfort and Care to IU Health Bloomington Hospital - Mary G
A small act of kindness can make a meaningful difference for someone navigating cancer treatment. This year's Subaru Loves to Care delivery at IU Health Bloomington Hospital Cancer Services offered a heartfelt reminder that patients and families are surrounded by a community that cares about them and is standing beside them throughout their journey. Through the partnership between Royal Subaru and IU Health Bloomington Hospital Cancer Services, blankets and care items were delivered to provide comfort, warmth, and encouragement to patients receiving treatment. These thoughtful gifts represent more than a simple gesture—they serve as a reminder to patients that they are supported, cared for, and never alone. We are incredibly grateful to the team at Royal Subaru for bringing generosity, compassion, and heart to this year's Subaru Loves to Care initiative. Their dedication to supporting local patients and giving back to the community helped make this special delivery possible and brought meaningful moments of comfort to those facing cancer. For patients and families spending time in a cancer care setting, moments of warmth and connection can have a lasting impact. A cozy blanket and thoughtful care items can brighten a difficult day while offering a tangible reminder that others are thinking of them and cheering them on. Another successful year of Subaru showing the love to the pets of our community! With the donation of new Parent Pet kits for dogs and cats Royal Subaru is making sure that our furry friends are off the the right start from the beginning! These kits had toys, leashes, harnesses, catnip for the cats, and more! These donations will make a huge difference for the shelter, Thank you again Royal Subaru!

Royal Subaru IN Teams Up to Support Local Community - Shellee B
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Bloomington, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Royal Subaru IN is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Royal Subaru IN have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 02/05/2025, Royal Subaru IN donated 120 shoes/socks to New Hope Family Shelter, Inc.. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.
Spreading Warmth and Hope in Bloomington - Annabeth S
We’re grateful to Royal Subaru for helping bring comfort to cancer patients and their families at IU Health Bloomington this June. As part of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, the dealership generously donated 80 soft, warm blankets—small gifts with a big impact. Every June, Subaru retailers nationwide partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to deliver hope and encouragement to those affected by cancer. More than a gesture of kindness, each blanket is a reminder that patients are not alone in their fight. Thanks to this decade-long partnership, Subaru and LLS have reached nearly 500,000 patients across the country—and that number continues to grow. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Royal Subaru and IU Health Bloomington for being part of this mission and making a difference in our Indiana community.
Fairview Elementary School - Kelsey P
Fairview Elementary School received some exciting news back in May. Royal Subaru was partnering with Adopt-a-Classroom to sponsor multiple classrooms at Fairview for the 2024-2025 school year. This will give teachers the opportunity to purchase a variety of resources to use with students to enhance the classroom learning environment. Fairview is so grateful for Subaru. The teachers and students will benefit from their generous support.
